Just check they're not like 234523 year old stock as most FM901s are getting pretty long in the tooth

How about 2 Yokohama directionals 195/60r14 for $55 fitted and balanced, yes they are seconds with about 4mm of tread. I hear you saying cheap bastard, but its just to get WOF as I cant make up my mind on tyres?

Im rolling 195/60r14 Dunlop formula FM901 at front, these are also no longer available just like the Yoko's. Its hard to find directional's in this size and I cant replace those great rim's

Yeah, those tyres sound like a good option if you need more time to complete your research.
4mm tread is OK (depending on your driving style and conditions) WoF fail is 1.5mm.
The 14" rims do narrow your tyre choices somewhat, but you're right - you can't ditch those rims Cam, it's all part of the 16v package.
The two tone ph2 ones are sweeeet.

Yokohama C-Drives seem like the potentially the lushest easy to get thing in that size. AFAIK they're pretty chur. Not directional, but assymetrical. Also, top-end Bridgestones aren't even directional any more so yeah/na/I don't know, directionals probably aren't the great white hope they're made out to be.

I had the biggest grin this morning, and made up for lost time passing everthing in site at great knots of speed
