Shaft imbalance

"Hi folks! I've been thinking about getting my drive shaft balanced, but I can't decide. On one hand, I prefer my car to run without shaking. On the other hand, it's pretty expensive.
 
Anyone tried balancing the drive shaft? Did you notice a difference? Is it really worth the cost? I'd appreciate any advice or opinions!"
