Would love to post photos but it appears they are all over the 256kb limit for this site. Any help with that??

One way is to...
Upload your images using a free image hosting website such as...  www.photobucket.com
Highlight and then copy (Ctrl+C) the link that you receive after uploading.
You should see the "Mona Lisa" icon when you go to edit/post a message. Click on that and paste (Ctrl+V).

Photobucket automatically shrinks your images down to a user friendly size if they are very large, so those 3 steps should be all that's required.

You diseasel fiend kk.

KK's fiendish behaviour makes me sick... in a good way. :-X           <---- yes that gimpy looking smiley is the official fast frogs BDSM emoticon -to let it be known that some of us are naughty naughty boys who derive pleasure from indulging in malevolent obscenities such as excessive boost and coal/Welcome along!

I'd leave it as is, and just run it on 98+. That'd be way better than lpg IMO.  Saw a green 1.9 GTI like yours in Nancy, France i think it was. It looked ace and unlike most froggy hacks in France was in mint condition. One of a few really nice cars that I saw and coveted to own. LHD makes it cooler though, haha..
You could search all your life for who you are, or you could accept the simple truth:You are what you drive - said by Porsche, but I'd rather be a Renaultsport...

Its awesome your bringing such a rare car over here! Can't wait to have a look at it. But to be very honist I wouldn't do an lpg conversion on that kind of car especially if you want it to hold or gain value as originality is the number one thing when it comes to classic cars (205's arnt far off)

If agree with kk and get a diesel and or a nice standard 205, 405 bx etcetc and do the conversion on that and keep your 205 mint  8)

k-trips

My suggestion was more to take his green 205c and a 405 diesel and fit the TD motor and box into the 205...

This 405 ---> http://www.fastfrogs.co.nz/index.php/topic,7686.0.html

Keep XU9 from 205 in storage though..

XU9D should bolt straight in if I figure the info correctly... If you got the whole 405 it would have everything you need to do the conversion including glow plug timer etc etc..
Only changes would be the fuel tank - but you could rig up the 205 tank to work fine..

Many thx to awatt for the photobucket suggestion. Here are a few pics of the Clio v6 as taken by previous owner (who has far better photo gear than I!). A little small now, but you get the drift.........original, unmolested and a future classic for sure.

re : 205    Aerorobnz - LHD does not make it cooler. Period. But Nancy sounds nice (hehe).

2052nv, I hear what you are saying about keeping the 205 original - but to be fair that is the plan for the clio long term (promised to my son, remember?) and the Pug is the daily and economy is the goal here. kk has almost talked me out of the lpg and into diesel now I have done some research. I know you are not liking the idea of butchering it, and I promise that will not be the case. Both cars are already in NZ. It's just me that is not there for now. For those that have yet to go, Aus IS the place to go to accumulate wealth (short term), but the locals are just not kiwis. A public forum is not the place to elaborate!

Anyways, some sunny shots of the blue beast..........
