Hello French car lovers, I am Reg and own a 1989 309GTI, NZ new 2 door, Its the funnest car I have driven to date I think. I had a friend who had one when I was 18, we used to cruise around the port hills in CHCH all the time in that thing, we had a blast......Last year sometime I stumbled across one on TM, and I remembered all those good times had, (can you have a quater life crisses, because I think thats what happened) so I ended up buying it. And have had many good times since.

Cheers, I have the phase 1 to I think. It has the plastic spoiler as apposed to the newer one (I prefer the older one anyway)

phase 1 has a rubber spoiler, phase 2 has plastic one

also, the phase one has different taillights
