I dont want to do it in  the RAVA .

Do you mean the RAV4

one of these?

Yeap one of those . I just so used to the 205, I dont want to use the Rav4 as its got power steering and real touchy brakes . Dont want the tester to be slammed against the dash . lol It might fail me .

Hahaha, I did that first time I drove my wifes old legacy, it was auto and coming up to an intersection I planted my foot on the 'clutch' or, in this case, brakes  :-\

Hahaha Hoping you didnt have your wife in the car at the time?  Poor head . I havn't driven a Auto yet Ma was really particular that I learn in a manual without all the bells and whistles . She said when you can drive in one of those you will be able to drive in anything .  So I will keep your post in mind when I drive a auto . Thanks :) ;D :D :)

Also sport modes with the + and - around the opposite way in some cars = lol

And new Toyota autos with that dumb labyrinth/maze thing to get the stick from park to drive etc

It's quite funny how going for the clutch becomes just an automatic thing...

Who needs an auto when you can train your body to be auto  :D

Hitman

I served my time with the driving instructor once I passed my learners.
Many lessons and plenty of time practising 3 point turns and all the stuff they test you on.
Was confident when I went for my practical test, buckled in, started the car, checked mirrors, indicated, tried to pull out with the car still in neutral...

So how many here passed the first time round ??? Ma said don't worry if you don't pass as many don't pass their first time usual due to nerves .

you wont get parts for it mate

I failed my restricted first time. Was shitting myself the whole time. Best advice I can give is get an instructor for cuple of weeks before and get them to take u around the track. Presume you will go quay street? If u do the test is up and around parnelle so heaps of traffic and shit. Atleast if u know the roads u will be on it makes it easier

If you can be fked, go up to Orewa and do it there, on a sunday morning  :D No traffic, easy roads, easy test!!

Seriously, you'll be sweet!  Most of them are really nice and not out to fail you.  I passed mine first time (admittedly about 18 years ago!!) in a massive 505 wagon.  My girl friend only failed her first time cos that guy was a dick, she failed without even starting the car!  When she went back and had someone else she passed with no problems (and she said she stalled it a few times even when doing the three point turn, no power steering and she is really small...).

If you are already making it over the bridge in rush hour every day then you'll pass no problem - just remember to keep checking your mirrors cos they watch out for that  ;)
omg 乱砍了由汉语 (^.^) 拥有

Passed all of mine first time no worries regardless of nerves etc.
Just focus jedi styles and you'll be sweet!

k-trips

Passed all of mine first time but I did mine 20 years ago when I was 15..
