New owner of 309 GTI

Hi all, i've had my 309 gti for the past 6 months and have decided to join your group.
It's a stock 1.9l, but i got it dynod and has 142bhp, so maybe had a bit of work done on it before it came from the Uk in 1993.
It drives well outhandling anything of the same size and often bigger, great fun to drive.
Only things i've done to it since purchase is get it back on the road with new wishbones on front and groupN lower engine mount.
Great to finally join fast frogs as many people talk about how useful you guys are.

hey man!

car sounds mean. and was that 142HP at the wheels?? if so thats pretty epic for a "standard car!" is it 1.9 16V by any chance?

Yea 148 at wheels, 8v motor, just needs a good tune up as running way to rich idling at 1800 when cold.
Needs air filter and fuel filter doing soon aswell.
Bad thing is that speedo doesnt work after it hit 500miles on trip meter today.
