There aren't too many rules here ;D If you do happen to do something wrong generally someone will just point you in the right direction.

Carpentry

266mm or 283mm rotors and calipers can be had from $150-$300 depending on where you go, some wreckers have them, ask around on here for a list.
23.8mm master cylinder (the biggest that will fit) is $170 from trade parts part no. 202-233 (I think)
Dunno about fluid.
Take it to Bishops

you wont get parts for it mate

for the master cylinder try adl i got mine for 100 bucks. just call in there with cash at lunch on a sa and theyl take anything.

dont think its worth getting bigger brakes tbh.... you just get to much braking power at the front of a light car which renders the rear brakes pretty much useless.

I think what your doing will be the best, easiest and will give you the most results!  :)

how handy are you mechanically??

Good to hear. I'm handy mechanically, finally finishing a cert in auto engineering (for interest not professional use) and just finished converting an E30 BMW auto->manual (abandoned the project to get the 205). Have completed engine swaps, conversions, resprays etc over the years. Zilch experience with any French cars though.

Well the brakes seem strong enough for road use @ least, so plan of attack is to tune the car up (missing at low rpms), sort out intake etc (not sure if you can see in photo) and go from there.

Since this will help the pug's progress,if you happen to know anyone after aforementioned E30 coupe, send em here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=303063668

After driving the pug for a few days then getting back into the E30 this morning it feels terrible!!! Not driving it anymore. The pug feels as quick as my Sub Legacy RS TT, but without any lag or VOD! Loving it ;D

Ps. looking for a downloadable workshop manual but the links to  rapidshare on this thread: www.fastfrogs.co.nz/index.php/topic,270.0.html are broken.

Does anyone have a fresh link? Cheers
