Nick.

Hey all,

Managed to find a link to this site from another euro club so some of you may already know me  :D

Any whom just popping in to say hello.

Here is my car...

97 XN
1.4 Manual  :-X
50ks
Alpine head deck and Pioneer speakers in the front (none in the back)

Its been in the family since new, I had a VW before but this is much nicer. The VW was a pretty bad example though! still love mk2 Gtis and such though.
Looking into moving to Aus after I get my degree so ill be keeping this for another year or so, might throw on some new wheels if a suitable set pop up. Wanna keep it OEM though

If I had my way.... Ive since been told the 206 GTi wheels wont work too well, offset issues :(

hey mate,

I think, I have your car now!
64k at the moment, right? XN is very rare, I don't see the plate number well, but I think, it is.

I hope not, now it looks like this..

Was written off about two months ago, did have 63/64 km on the clock. plate was WK7278.

Would be interesting if it's back on the road

Yes, this is it. I bought it from State... Never tought, that XN is so rare, and that I would find the original owner...

It has a structural damage, I won't fix it. But the interior is in as new condition, and the engine is fine as well.

I have two 306 peugeots waiting for repair, one blue ( I tought I would use your engine to repair) and a diablo red, needs new interior.
Or, I may wait for a third peugeot...

XN is very rare, that was the first time I saw it. The main problem is the broken left side engine mount. It is 25cm long alloy rod. Impossible to get it in NZ. Have been quoted for a new one for $450plus GST. Just for the mount....

Wow, interesting!

My mum purchased it from a old lady who had had it for a couple of months from new. We have owned it since then.

Mint little car! Never missed a beat, only thing that went wrong with it in the 10 years or so we owned it was the airbag.. which didnt go off in the crash..

Strong little and box. So good on gas too.

Keep me updated!

Yeah, de problem is, that reregistration would cost abt $1500, plus the repair...
Needs a new right guard, driver door repair, new front support, bumper, radiator, aircon radiator, both headlights, hood, and to repair the structural damage.... Very sad, but not economical...

Will let you know, when he starts a new life!

ficza

Was that a truck, you hit?

Nick.

It was a little mazda 323 that pulled out in front of me. Luckily she had insurance!

ficza

The Mazda must be written off for sure  :)

Nick,

Do you remember the radio code?
Have to unlock it...
