Good to find, and join a NZ frog forum.

I own a dark grey 1989 1.9 205 gti as well as a '89 405 mi16 (dereg, yes another mi16 is chopped, although it was an unsavable accident casualty ).
Im in the process of fully rebuilding the xu9j4 before swapping into the 205. Should make serious progress on this over the summer as uni has a habit of draining my time and money during the year.

Going to plan, ill be taking it to a few track days at Ruapuna sometime next year.

Always interested to read about similar projects going on and especially locating parts in this area of the world.
